In 9ja: Senate proposes six-year single term for President, govs

David-Mark (L) & The Nigerian Senate (R)
On three-day working retreat which held in Lagos on Sunday, the Senate Committee on the Review of the Constitution has recommended a non-renewable single six year tenure for the office of President, Vice-President, governors and their deputies. This is an arrangement that may put a stop to President Goodluck Jonathan's ambitions of 2015 because the Senate panel’s recommendation disqualifies Jonathan and  incumbent  governors from benefiting from the new arrangement if the recommendation becomes law.

HBC: Hope this is not another Grand plan to mess Nigeria up the more. I dey fear OooO!
