I bet non of you HBR have ever known of this strawberry juice colored lake... Am I right? I am not kidding, this Lake is real, its in Africa, in Senegal...lol
For your information it is located 40 km north of Dakar. Retba Lake is an amazing marvel of nature, known throughout the world as the Pink Lake.
It is famous for its remarkable pinkish-coloured water (due to a rare sort of algae - Dunaliella salina and its strong salt content) that can turn to purple depending
on the intensity of the rays of sunshine. And another thing is that it has a great percent of the salt, like the
Dead sea, so people can't drawn so easily.
