#WrongMove: President GEJ canceled FEC Meeting To Honour VP Sambo’s Late Brother

HBC: I got is news from Premium Times website with the title "Nigeria cancels cabinet meeting to honour VP Sambo’s brother" so I asked myself "Who is Nigeria?" and after reading the news, the answer became crystal clear to me but that is not what is bugging my mind right now.
First of all, Our (HBC) condolences to the VP and his family over their loss and may his soul rest in perfect peace, Amin.
In my opinion, I think that this move made by the President is noble but I also think that the recent incidents that occurred back-to-back should have been given a similar gesture.
Almost 100 Nigerians died in a bomb attack and more than 250 school girls were kidnapped from their hostels in Chibok. These two National Tragedies did not deter Mr President from attending a campaign rally in Kano State and a birthday party in Ibadan because I believe the event are of utmost importance to "Nigeria" at that point in time, Why should this be different?
The only way anyone would translate this action is that "Nigeria" considers the death of the 80+ Nigerians in the Nyanya bomb Blast incident less important than a Birthday party and a campaign rally and the Federal Executive Council meeting is less important than ....
And since the VP's late brother had a national event cancelled in his honor, it also means that his death matters more than that of the victims of the bomb blast and the abduction of  over 250 nigerian girls.
Below is the write up I culled up from premium times.

The deceased was the immediate younger brother to Vice President Sambo and died on April 27 at the Bill Clinton drive, Airport road, Abuja.
President Goodluck Jonathan has directed that the weekly meeting of the Executive Council of the Federation, FEC, scheduled for Wednesday be shelved.
The cancellation is to enable Council members attend the three-day prayer for the late Yusuf Sambo, the younger brother of the Vice President, Namadi Sambo.
This was disclosed in a press statement by the Special Assistant (Media) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sam Nwaobasi.
The deceased was the immediate younger brother to Vice President Sambo and died on April 27 at the Bill Clinton drive, Airport road, Abuja.
Until his death, the deceased was a qualified pilot who worked with the former Nigerian Airways and the Presidential Air Fleet before retiring to be on his own.
He was born in 1956 and is survived by his wife, three daughters, and 10 brothers and sisters.
He has since been buried at the Apo cemetery, Abuja, according to Islamic rites.
